Overview

This Shipping & Freight Policy explains how Core Driven Industries ("CDI", "we", "us", "our") manages shipping, freight, delivery, collection and related arrangements for products purchased or ordered through CDI.

Because CDI supplies both general accessories and large vehicle-related products, shipping arrangements may vary depending on the product type, package size, weight, destination, availability, fitment requirements and whether the order includes installation.

This policy should be read together with our Terms & Conditions and Refund Policy.

General accessories and small items

General accessories and smaller items may be shipped using standard courier or postal services.

Where available, shipping options and charges may be calculated and displayed at checkout.

In-stock general accessories are usually processed within 1–3 business days. Processing times are estimates only and may vary during busy periods, stock checks or where order details need to be confirmed.

Once an order has been dispatched, tracking information may be provided where available.

Large, bulky and vehicle-specific items

Large, bulky or vehicle-specific products may require separate freight arrangements.

This may include:

  • trays
  • canopies
  • service bodies
  • large toolboxes
  • vehicle-specific packages
  • tray and canopy packages
  • bulky accessories
  • products requiring special packaging, handling or loading

These products may not be suitable for automatic checkout freight calculation. In some cases, freight must be reviewed or confirmed before the order proceeds or before dispatch.

Freight quotes and website estimates

We recommend contacting CDI for a freight quote before ordering large, bulky or vehicle-specific products.

Any website estimate, checkout rate or system-generated shipping amount may need to be reviewed or adjusted based on:

  • final package size
  • final package weight
  • packaging method
  • loading requirements
  • carrier requirements
  • delivery location
  • depot availability
  • whether multiple items are being shipped together

Where possible, freight for large or bulky items should be confirmed before you place an order. In some cases, we may contact you after an order or enquiry is submitted to confirm freight options, costs or delivery requirements.

Unless expressly stated, product prices do not include freight, delivery, installation or collection-related charges.

Combined orders and packages

Combined orders may require individual freight assessment.

This is especially relevant for tray and canopy packages, service body packages, large toolbox combinations or orders involving multiple bulky items.

Freight costs may vary depending on how items are packed, whether they can be safely combined, whether they require palletisation or crating, and the final delivery destination.

Delivery areas

Australia-wide delivery may be available depending on the product, package size and destination.

Some remote, regional, restricted-access or difficult-to-service locations may require additional freight assessment, depot delivery, customer collection from a depot or additional charges.

We will confirm available options where freight needs to be assessed manually.

Dispatch, delivery estimates and tracking

Dispatch and delivery timeframes are estimates only unless expressly confirmed otherwise in writing.

Delivery timeframes may vary depending on product availability, order confirmation, packaging requirements, carrier availability, destination, public holidays, depot handling and other practical factors.

We will take reasonable steps to keep you informed if a material delay affects your order and, where appropriate, work with you on suitable next steps.

Tracking information may be provided where available. For bulky freight, tracking may depend on the carrier and the freight method used.

Collection and depot pickup

Collection may be available by arrangement once your order is ready.

We will confirm the collection location, timing and any pickup requirements with you.

If a collection address is available, it may be shown in our website footer or confirmed directly by our team. For depot collection arranged through a freight carrier, the depot location and pickup instructions will be provided when available.

Collection must be arranged at a suitable time and in a suitable vehicle. Large or heavy items may require appropriate lifting equipment, loading access or transport preparation.

Installation orders

If your order includes installation by CDI, delivery, collection or handover arrangements may be managed as part of your installation booking.

In these cases, we will confirm relevant timing, vehicle drop-off, collection, handover or completion arrangements with you.

Installation payment terms are addressed in our Terms & Conditions or any written quote, invoice or order confirmation.

Incorrect delivery details and missed delivery

You are responsible for providing accurate delivery details.

This includes correct name, phone number, email address, delivery address, business name where applicable, access details and any relevant delivery instructions.

Additional charges caused by incorrect addresses, missing business names, missed deliveries, re-delivery, depot storage, returned freight or failed delivery attempts may be passed on to the customer where applicable.

If you notice an error in your delivery details, please contact us as soon as possible. We will try to assist, but changes may not always be possible once an order has been dispatched or booked with a carrier.

Freight damage

We recommend checking the packaging and product condition as soon as possible after delivery or collection.

If an item appears damaged on delivery, please contact CDI as soon as reasonably practicable, preferably within 48 hours where possible.

Please provide:

  • your order number or invoice details
  • photos of the packaging
  • photos of the shipping label where available
  • photos of the product and any visible damage
  • a brief description of the issue

Please keep the packaging and damaged goods where possible while the issue is reviewed.

Prompt notice helps us assess the issue and work with freight providers where relevant. However, this does not limit any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.

Authority to leave

Authority to leave may be available for some small items depending on the carrier and delivery method.

For bulky, high-value or vehicle-specific products, authority to leave may not be available or may not be recommended.

If you request authority to leave, you are responsible for ensuring the delivery location is safe, accessible and suitable. Additional risks may apply once goods are left at the nominated location.

International shipping

We primarily ship within Australia.

International shipping is not generally available unless agreed in writing.

If international shipping is agreed, additional freight charges, customs duties, taxes, import requirements, delays and local compliance matters may apply. These are generally the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise agreed in writing.
