Questions

Can I see a build in person?

Yes. Our Brisbane and Sydney workshops have display trays and canopies on the floor. They may not be the exact setup you're after, but you'll see the build quality, finish and fittings up close. Drop in during opening hours — no appointment needed. Displays are at our CDI workshops only.

Do I need to book an install?

Yes. Call or send an enquiry with your ute's make, model and year. We'll confirm what it needs, the price and a date. A deposit may be needed to confirm the booking.

How long does an install take?

Most installs take 2 days. More complex builds, such as a full service body or extra electrical work, can take 2–3 days. We'll confirm the time when we book you in.

Will my reverse camera and sensors still work?

Some utes need the camera, parking sensors or blind spot sensors relocated when the tub comes off. We check this for your vehicle and include it in the quote.

What happens to my old tub or tray?

We can remove it as part of the install, quoted separately. Let us know beforehand if you want to keep it — removed parts are held for 10 days after you pick up your ute.

Is my warranty the same wherever it's fitted?

Yes. CDI's warranty covers defects in materials and manufacture in CDI products, wherever they were installed. At our Brisbane and Sydney workshops, supply, installation and warranty support are handled in one place. Each claim is assessed individually, and cover is subject to the product being installed correctly and used as intended. If you notice an issue, contact us and we'll assess it. This is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
